Happy with that.. Are they favourites for League 1 this season?

With any luck we'll get Livi in the next round after this one.

Bad memories of games at Dunfermline, but times have changed since then. They're a season away from being an "established" third-tier club, so I don't see why we should fear them.

Full draw:

Ross County v Ayr United

Forfar Athletic v Heart of Midlothian

Kilmarnock v Berwick Rangers

Raith Rovers v Hamilton Academical

Queen of the South v Morton

Dunfermline Athletic v Dundee

Partick Thistle v Falkirk

East Fife v Motherwell

Hibernian v Stranraer

Airdrieonians v Rangers

St Mirren v Livingston

Looks like Berwick will make it through then :lol2:

Not going to be as easy as some think. Dunfermline are going to walk that league this year and they have already scored 4 and 5 in their first 2 games so far. Still be bitterly dissapointed if we were to not win it though

Sandwiched between Aberdeen and Inverness so Dunfermline will be looking to catch us off guard and give us a tough match. Dunfermline have looked pretty good in pre-season so might be coming in with a bit of momentum. Our second string is the strongest I ever remember though so I'd be expecting them to deliver though.

Am already looking forward to the trip though, East End Park is a good ground and Dunfermline are a proper club.

Thomson aside, really hope we play our strongest possible XI for this.

FFS. Man up.

Knowing our previous history in cups can you blame me?

PH has been quoted in the press as saying he will be playing the strong team available to him in every round of the cups..

To be honest, it seems crazy that any club other than Celtic would not give every cup tie a belts and braces approach.

The LC and SC are everybody's best hope of silverware.

Knowing our previous history in cups can you blame me?

We've won the League Cup more times than United, St Johnstone and Dunfermline combined!
