I don't want to see anyone going bust. For every director that screws up, there are a set of fans that want to see their team. We should always remember what that felt like ;)

Wot he says !

After being in the do-do ourselves I wouldn't wish it on anyone. As you say, Directors can swan off and turn up at another club if they feel like it (unless they really really do it spectacularly like Craig Whyte) but as we know, fans are left with a broken train set. I don't want to tempt fate but if we go belly up again who thinks we would be able to dig ourselves out of it. Sorry times for Scottish football.

5 Points deduction and 10k fine. 1 club I would love to see going bust.

Hopefully soon.

I wouldn't like to see them go bust this way as it's a constant reminder of our own past, however I think 5 points is far too lenient and should have been at least 20 considering their past, good enough for the goose, good enough for the gander.

Plus I would like to see them fall from grace (again) other ways ;)

Completely agree and I even extend that to The Rangers or whatever you want to call them these days.

There seems to be a collective praying from fans of every club in Scotland including ours for Rangers to cease to exist.

I completely understand why Rangers are disliked/hated by fans of every club in Scotland but for some of our fans to pray that they cease to exist and tens of thousand of people are left without their football club after what happened to ours in 2003 and 2010 doesn't sit comfortable with me.

I genuinely thought our club was going to die both these times, particularly the second time and it was the most horrible scary feeling you could get. Just gutting and thank *** we got through it and survived so that more and more generations can keep the blue flag flying high for our famous old original football club of the city.

Fans of any football club don't deserve to lose their club due to boardroom mismanagement.

Puts our 25 point deduction into perspective.. I don't think there are many other clubs (if any) that could have retained their position in that league that year! 5 points and a £10k fine does seem leniant to me as well.

I don't see the Livi fine as lenient, I see the 25 points we got as OTT and designed to demote us through the back door, fortunately (and spectacularly) it backfired.
