Stuck up for him but today was ridiculous.

Ripped a new one by Robbie Fucking Neilson.

Naive doesn't even begin to cover it.

Tbf he wilted today. Surely any change was worth a punt?

He gets praise when he gets things right last week and he will be criticised when things go wrong like today. He was lapping up the praise last week and rightly so.

He has done a good job over all and is a victim of his own success to an extent in that our expectations are rising.

It was obvious in the 1st 5 minutes of the 2nd half that they had changed it and took control of the game but Hartley didn't react.

The lack of options from the bench and to adapt tactically is a valid concern which people are rightly bringing up.

Hopefully we win on Tuesday and we're all praising him again! In the words of Ivano 'that's a football'

Great day for Neilson. Bad day for Hartley. It's one game though. Let's wait and see.

Hartley had an impressive season last season and he's coming off an amazing performance at Killie so he's got plenty in the bank.

When was the last time a team at home getting beat didn't make any subs?

Unheard of. Does he not trust the players he signed?

Why even bother naming a subs bench.

Tbh he sent out all the wrong messages today. Ones I don't agree with.

Mainly dropping Konrad is like saying, no matter how good you play son, you will never start if McPake is fit.

And Also, to boys on the bench. It does not matter how bad we are playing, you lot won't change the game.

Bad day for Hartley. Unable to counter a simple tactical change by Neilson.

Then ridicules his bench.

Poor.

That's pretty much my thoughts summed up.

We were heading for certain defeat in the last 20 minutes. We had zero penetration. The only player on the bench who could potentially have changed the game was Roberts.

The fact that he didn't appear suggests we'd be as well just paying his contract off now to get him out of Dens.
