Sounded convincing enough, but wanting to be top six, challenging for cups and looking 10, 15, 20 years into the future?

If they plan being around that long surely they want more than that?

What more can a Scottish side outside of the Glasgow two (currently one) expect?

Good interview, nice likeable guy. Interesting he said 20 years at Dundee, is there plan now longer? BBC saying he is 'chairman' ?

Top four and to win a couple of trophies?

It's called ambition. Not getting at him just thought he'd be more upbeat and ambitious.

As said above by Super Dee, came over as a very likeable (and relaxed) kind of guy.

A very easy kind of style, but emphasised quite strongly, I thought, they are here for the long term, and certainly expect to maintain a top six spot.

Staying in the top six for 20 years and competing for silverware is exactly what we should be aiming for, so I was really encouraged by what Keyes said. If he was talking about challenging the Old Firm then that would suggest he's not in the real world.

Two years on and the Americans appear to have the same enthusiasm for the club now that they know exactly what we are about. Have felt along that they were the real deal.

The dabs should be worried. Their advantage over us has melted away in no time and we look the more ambitious club.

That's what I took from consistently top six and challenging for trophies.

Basically the same thing.

I'd rather he was realistic with a bit of ambition than gave us the Dixon, Melville school of thought.

You're probably right, feet on the ground and that.

Were there locks to match these keys?

Gary was asked but politely declined for fear of further humiliation.
