Deserved at least a point, apart from a mad 5 minutes..again! and then chasing the game were fairly comfortable. Big shout out to ggh who hardly wasted a pass all night and Stewarts goal was sublime.

Was that 2 elbows on our centre halves in the first half? not impressed with the Dabs and should have been out of sight again.

Oyf.. About ten punches in the puss, almost twa broken bones..me and ma old man fleein' over seats hugging strangers.. That's what Derbys are all about last minute carnage. OYF

Ps Beaton should be demoted after that performance.. Wow. DDYB McPake ya legend!

Good first half where we should have been in front ,what is worrying though is thats now two games in a row we have totally fell out the game for the first 25-30 mins of the second half.

I will be honest and i did not see us coming back at all as we showed nothing at all until Stewarts wonder goal, too many players for me going missing for bits of the game.

Still i cant be too critical on coming back from 2 down  with less than 10 mins left.

Typical united tactics, cynical all night, I noticed even their subs in the first half were impeding Stewart space to take a corner , deserved what they got, but we should have been out of sight first half.

That was some build up to Stewarts goal and again he gets on the golden left foot and into the top left hand corner before he even looks up. Well done young man!

Scott Bain, not sure what he was doing when he nearly gifted the Dabs a goal with a heart on the throat moment and then he totallly makes you forget with a wonder tipped save off the bar.

McPake.. took his goal well!

That was a fookin great game. i was resigned to a shafting after having outplayed the

MINKS for the first half and having to -with heavy heart -  admire spittals's goals. But then

Stewart showed his class and - unbekievavly - McPake slithered in a not -undeserved equaliser.

What a great advert for Scottish football. At last a Dundee team we can be proud of after these

ten shitty years. I reckon we can do well this season!!!

Overall probably a fair result.  We dominated for more of the game than united, but whilst we created plenty of chances we never really looked like putting them away, especially in the first half.  United created about 4 chances all game and scored 2 of them, we created countless, but only managed to score 2.  We need to look at how we can start actually producing something from our good play.

Our play style is very dependent on Thompson and if he goes off we need to put an extra man in midfield to compensate.  United were all over us after his injury.

Greg Stewart is absolutely different class.  We need him to get on the ball up the park, creating chances and scoring goals.

Other than Gordon, Scott Bain is the best goalkeeper in Scotland.  He had no chance for the first, it was too quick, and the second was well placed.  That save was unreal.

James McPake is a hero.

First half we were on easy street. Thomson marshalling the midfield and breaking up play. Good width from McGinn and Holt, but Loy and Hemmings were really poor tonight.

Hemmings' second touch was a tackle. Stewart went missing but, as with all class players, pulled something special out of the bag to drag us back into it.

Quite worrying that we fell apart when Thomson went off. We seem completely disjointed when he's not playing. Hopefully it's nothing serious. We need him.

Low had a good game when he came on. Got a feeling he'll be a big player for us once he's fully fit.

Going forward, I'd like to see more options on the bench. Very uninspiring when we're chasing the game and you find the likes of Simon Ferry warming up.

All in all, it feels like a victory tonight, but I don't fancy going through that again in a hurry ...

Zwick had a shocker. He parried the ball to Nick Ross for what should have been the opener but Ross didn't have the composure to guide the ball into the gaping net. Then right at the death Zwick is at it again, parrying a shot for McPake to equalise. Credit to Harkins for that crucial long shot that led to the goal.

At the other end, Bain showed just what a brilliant keeper he is. I genuinely think we could looking at a potentially world class talent.

Stewart's strike was a cracker. I seem to have seen that same wonder goal about half a dozen times from him.

I really like the look of Nicky Low. He adds a bit of presence to the middle. First thing he did was clatter a dab to let them know they were in a fight for the points. He's going to be a great player for us I reckon.

Have given Konrad a lot of stick but he buried his derby demons with a really solid performance. One challenge near the end was fantastic.

Overall I think we look the better team. Disappointing that we fell apart for a spell. Dreadful defending from McGinn for their second. The main thing though is we showed a lot of heart and belief to get something out of the game.
