Attilio.

I did not know that this excellent forum existed until someone today posted the link on Dundee Mad.

I wondered what had happened to the usual posters such as Gedee who were no longer posting on Dundee Mad.

Can a mod explain what the warning points status means below my log in name please

I dont see it beside anyone else

Thank you

If you are warned, for example, for spamming or for causing trouble or for whatever reason that goes against the forum's rules and regulations then you'd receive a 'warning' from a mod/admin it'd come in a form of a PM but you could always click on your 'warning point to know what it was for.

Each poster can only see their own warning points. Nothing to be worried about, it's a system that comes with this type of forum.

Hope the mods aren't going to be too strict or it'll end up like the official site of old.

Have to find the correct balance obviously, but there certainly won't be censorship like you found on the old official on my part at least and from what I've spoken to with TheDarkBlues, he seems similar.

Main aim is obviously to not allow flat out abuse of any kind, cull any DAB accounts that pop-up and keep the forum looking clean rather than bogged down with spam and also to give Dundee fans a place where they can air their views, whatever they are.

ETA: Oh, and also the constant DAB accusations. It got a bit Salem Witch Trial esque on Mad at times. If you suspect someone may be posing as a Dee (Sad as f**k IMO) just click on the report button and leave the mods to decide/keep watch on the poster rather than accusing fellow Dee's and side-tracking the thread of discussion completely into a petty argument.

The warning points status that you see is private between you and the forum and that is why you don't see any one else's.

It is a tally of the time the board has given you a warning for breaking the forum rules/guidelines.
