It's all very amusing but the battering by Hamilton might unite their support and force McNamara out what I'd like to see is a long and miserable season for United including a couple of heavy derby defeats and ending in relegation.

Obviously us winning a major trophy is my ultimate ambition in supporting Dundee, but after all they threw at us from 2005 onwards I have to say that seeing them relegated comes a very close second.

I want them to suffer the 10 years we had to. Being beaten at home by Brechin in front of a crowd of 1800. Going down 7-0 to Airdrie after throwing everything at the Scottish Cup. Thinking that a 4th placed finish in the second-tier is a good season. Before plunging into administration while desperately trying to escape that hell-hole of a division.
