Important Please Read: A Slight Change In Policy In Calling Members Dabs, Arabs.

Hiya Darkblues,

We have amended our user guidelines, section 13. to include a no Arab accusation to all our members.

After a discussion with all the mods today, we have decided to introduce a new zero tolerance policy to prevent issues as happened on Dundee Mad. We hope that you can understand why we have introduced this measures in the hope of preventing future bad blood between our members.

As from today, a warning point and and an hour silence (in the forum where the offence took place, as this will not be board wide) will be issued to any member that feel they have to call out others, i:e: By calling them 'an Arab' to provoke a response or as an insult. This now falls under our user guidelines, section 13.

13. Respect is the name of the game. You must respect your fellow members. Please refrain from inflammatory and defamatory comments as well as flaming, taunting, and general disrespect. Do not simply put down the opinion or advice given by others. If you don't agree with it, say why - respectfully. Don't just tell them they're wrong. Do not make uninvited remarks about typos, duplicate posts, posting styles, etc.

When an opinion-based discussion is being had, do not state things like "there is no argument" as if your opinion is the only one or the only one that matters. When someone has clearly stated their opinion, do not say things like "Are you serious?" and "Are you kidding me?" Remember, this is not a debate club. This is a friendly discussion community. Allow people to have their opinion. No one is to act as some sort of opinion judge, responding to each one to say whether they agree with it or not or whether or not it is a valid, well thought out opinion.

We do not allow threads to be started to discuss who or what is the most overrated, who or what is your least favourite, etc.We have a strict policy on calling other members 'Arabs or insinuating that they're 'Arabs'. This behaviour will result in a warning being issued and your account being silenced for an hour in the forum where you made the accusation.

While we understand that this could be said as a joke, in jest or not really seriously, other members might misconstrue or take your words out of context. If this is the case, a moderator will politely remind you that this is against our rules and regulations and no warning will be given.

While we understand there will be banter amongst (look we can say that word here) our members and we maybe been seen as cutting close to the bone, we need to remember not everyone reads what you write in the manner you intended it to be written. So to prevent future animosity,  we would rather this type of behaviour did not happen within our forums.

We hope that you understand why we have introduced this measure and it is there to protect you and other members while you use this forum.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

The Darkblues Team
