Building Work - Bottom Of Derry Steps

Anybody any idea whats happening? Assuming maybe further turnstiles being put in?  Seems a bit late in the week with a match on Saturday to start doing building work.

Wouldn't imagine it'd be anything major,mid-wk & mid-season.Probably just safety work,filling in holes or something.

edit: I have just sent an email to DFC regarding this and hopefully they will be able to let us know what is going on.

They were painting the gates on Tuesday.

Some essential repair works to the perimeter wall at the south enclosure. Will not affect the match!

This is the information we got from Jim Thompson (General Manager) this morning,

As TDB says, it's only the essential repair work to be carried out. Having seen through to the steel bars last week, I would hope these areas of the walls get the attention first. Judging by the number of areas affected though, it'll not be an overnight job.

They have painted the gate, but it still looks sh**e with that trolley and all the rubbish still sitting behind it. May have been moved now, but was there when I walked past last week.
