It was at the tail end of the 60's I vaguely remember him. Probably around 66-69/70 time. About the only reason I  remember him is that he featured in a Topical times annual  and I always though it strange that out of all our players of the time he'd be the one featured. Probably played no more than a 10-12 times per season including cup games.

He was up against Doug Houston and laterly the emerging Dave "Biffo" Johnston for the left back slot so was up against it to make that position his own. Played his last game for the club on 11th March 1970 when he was replaced by the centre half George Stewart.

From what I recall he was okay when he played but no stand-out.

Itchy he shared the left back slot wee ron selway till biff claimed the left back position around 71

Just noticed that picture as I was looking through posts. Always had it in my mind he played quite a lot, but the memory plays tricks on an auld man!
