Call me an optimist but after getting our first home win on the board I'm convinced we'll get a result against ICT. Tough game but I think we'll pick up at least a point.

Never predict or forecast when it comes to DFC games, but Rio, I think this time I will break my rule.

I had very bad feelings leading up to the Dunfermline game. And we,re all still trying to get over that !!

This time I have really good feelings about the ICT game. So confident (Please no' the kiss o' death)

So C'mon Dundee .... "Make Oor Day"

If Thomson and Low are both playing then I think we will beat them today.

Looking at their team, they look very weak compared to last season plus they have quite a few injuries just now.

This is a great chance to beat them

Think this is the point. It should not really be about feelings but determination and being bloody minded. Individuals need to win their own battles on the pitch and not rely on some vague feeling that we should win this game because they are not playing well, or they have injuries to players who were crucial to their success last year etc etc.

Ach, Rio, you've been a misery for a decade, starting on the original DFC Forum when JD's post-admin team got relegated..... :(

......but generally an optimistic auld misery ;)

What's up wi' ye, why the pessimism?......wulk & hoch deprivation????....are food parcels not getting through customs now?  :sadno:

ICT were instrumental in our relegation at the end of 2004/05 (we beat them 3-1 at Dens in January 2005), beating us 3-2 in our final pre-split match, then drawing 1-1 at Dens in our 2nd last game (which I think was the one where Lee Wilkie was stretchered off with a recurrence of his cruciate injury?), before the disaster at Livi.

High time we made up for that, don't you think?  :)

By coincidence, that 1-1 draw in 2005 was the game after the last East End Park debacle, a 5-0 humping that perhaps killed our survival chances.
