A lot more than Gary Irvine in my opinion. Have a look at the bench today, who are you putting on ahead of him in the midfield? Not saying he was good today by any means!

Carreiro must be pushing for a starting slot. Harkins back for the Partick game but I reckon we'll still see Ross starting - he's been pretty poor last three or four games.

What does he offer the team ?

The square route of f**k All, Nick DROSS the INVISIBLE Man. When he signed for us Hartley said, we have

signed an attacking midfield player to slip into the gap, between our midfield and our forwards, the

missing link, from last season's team, guess what Paul, you were quite correct, in some ways, with that

quote, he's been MISSING, the last FOUR games, Mr Lightweight.

Incredible how differently people see games. Yes poor today but it's the 1st one out of the 6 competitive games I've saw this season where he's been poor.

Think he's top of the poll on the best summer signing thread.

I don't see him being an attacking midfielder that will get goals either although I agree McGowan should be nowhere near there.Ross looks so one paced I can't envisage him making bombing runs to support the forward. his miss against United was hardly the work of a goalscoring midfielder. Would be worth a try but why Stewart wasn't in the hole today with low left mid and McGowan right mid I really don't know.
