It just seems petty to me, the Ref's are on a hiding to nothing, they might be crap sometimes but I doubt any of them are biased. I've a mate who refereed rugby to a high level and while its a different game he said that if there was even a sniff of favouring one team they would have to justify their actions to some kind of Ref's committee.

Ref's are either good or bad, for 1 set of fans to call on a Ref to get banned is unworkable, if it's taken to its logical conclusion, fan's could 'pick' which Ref they want. Nah, not for me. Bin or demote gash Refs but you can't have fans vetoing them.

This won't go anywhere, it should be up to the authorities to take appropriate action against this incompetent official.

This guy seems to think that fans pay to see him be contravential.

Yes.

This is the only way that the bosses at the SFA will realise that the fans who are the lifeblood of the game are fed up with poor refereeing decisions every week.

Stewart Regan who is chief executive of the SFA thinks that the Scottish referees are excellent and occasionally they make a mistake. Last Saturday Regan was obviously not at Dens to see all the mistakes that Andrew Dallas made.

In my opinion Andrew Dallas is only a Grade 1 referee because his father is Hugh Dallas.

Have you all short memories ?

Don't you remember that Celtic were up in arms about referees officiating at their games around 5 years ago and they had to bring in referees from other countries after Dougie McDonald was found to have lied to his supervisor after a game. That debate then led to referees voting to strike in an attempt to achieve substantial changes in the game.

Immediately after the strike, McDonald opted for early retirement, to hush the concerns of the SFA and protect their backs

Hearts are on to a complete loser here ..

Callum Paterson was sent off for a dangerous challenge. Looked the right decision from Collum. I know Paterson played the ball but you can't dive in like that nowadays.

Hearts should just suck it up like the rest of us have to when things don't go our way. This is classic Old Firm-style sour grapes.

It is time that supporters like the Hearts fans stand up and put pressure on the SFA to take action. Referees such Willie Collum are well paid yet their performances each week go from bad to worse. A 6 month suspension from all SPFL and European games for Collum might just have the desired effect.

You will be telling me next that Andrew Dallas had first class performance at Dens last Saturday and did not make any refereeing mistakes.

He was useless and I was there to see it. No wonder I was still hoarse when I got back to Islay last Monday (31st August).

Absolutely embarrassing from the Hearts fans and the club in general.

A petition to get one referee banned from their games only and we're being asked if that's right on the OP?

If we put in a petition to ban every bad referee we've had at Dens since we came up last season, we'd have no one left to referee our games.

The overwhelming majority have been terrible at Dens.
