Hats off to any Dee that goes to Parkhead. I am working so can't make it but even if I wasn't I wouldn't be going. No way will I give that club a penny of my hard earned cash.

I'll not be going either, its not the giving money to them, its the way we're treated when we go through there. We're stuck in a crap corner for no reason, there's plenty other sections that would give us a better view and the attention from the Glasgow police and the stewards just ruin it for me. Funnily enough, the exact opposite of the 'Thistle experience', friendly stewards and no interaction with the police. I'm not anti police by any means, I've generally got a lot of time and respect for them but I can't stand the heavy handed approach I've experienced through there (and Ibrox in the past).

Think the perception about police and stewards at Parkhead stems from experiences from a few years ago. Have never had any bother with them at any of our past few visits. The 2-1 game last season it was actually Dundee police that had been sent through to police our end. The 5-0 game I stood speaking to a couple of coppers for a bit after losing total interest in the game and they couldn't have been nicer.

Fair one Mr G, the last time I was through was the first game in the 'hiding to nothing' season when we went up with 2 weeks notice. That was the deal breaker for me, the treatment we got was poor. I'm a fat middle aged guy who was sober and with my missus, we still got patted down and the sniffer dog had a nose at us, I don't really want to be involved with this kind of thing. I'm not "never going back" but due to poverty I'm picking some away games to miss, this is an easy one for me.
