I would go with exactly the same team as last week. Hoping McPake makes it to give that much needed continuity to our defence.

Some decent players going forward Motherwell but if their defence is anything like last year then we should have plenty chances to score. Looking forward to seeing Calder hopefully giving their right back nightmares!

If we can get the first goal then that should knock any confidence Motherwell have from their win last week. 3 points a must tomorrow.

Heard Thomson will not be playing so would expect to have Harkins eeplace him in the team. Hopefully we go for an attacking line-up with Calder giving us pace and directness. Pity Low is not available as he hads something different to the side.

What's wrong with Thomson? Is he injured or being rested?

We looked a more potent threat once Harkins came on last week - albeit against 10 men.

However we can't just go gun-ho, so if Thomson (and Low and Gowser) are all missing, then we'll need to be more tight in midfield than the players left would usually leave us.

That said, if Harkins can get the ball to Stewart and Calder, and they in turn to Loy and Hemmings, well, I'll be disappointed if we don't create a good few chances..

Not surprised to hear a rumour of a fall-out between Thomson and Hartley after their disagreement last weekend. I'm fairly sure we'll see our captain start tomorrow. There are no official reports that he's injured, he started all three games last month and we desperately need him to play given that Low and McGowan are unavailable.

It bothered me last week when Harkins was left out of suggested line-ups. Guy is a rare talent & we simply can't write him off as so many were keen to do.

Ok he needs a rest now & then but he oozed class in his cameo last week.
