Cheaper Taxis For Dundee ?

Now that the High Court has ruled that the taxi hailing app Uber is lawful in London, we might be seeing the service in Dundee with cheaper fares up here ..

Do any taxi drivers use the forum ? If so, what’s your opinion of Uber ?

I used an Uber cab for the first time the other day in London. It's about half the cost of a black cab. Don't see it taking off in Dundee because the taxis are already quite fairly priced.

I have a taxi in Dundee, uber are private hire .they won't be cheap when they whack on surge price when it's busy.my meter isn't allowed to do that.

When you get in my taxi on a sat night it will be what's on meter,uber will charge what they like,not bothered bring on the competition.
