Great result for the boys today. Gourlay had little to do, back four solid, especially Priest and Waddell in central defence, midfield strong, particularly Curran, who scored a great individual goal, and Ryan Gemmell too.

Up front, Skelly and Clark worked their socks off and Skelly unlucky not to score, though he did have two assists.

It was good to watch two 'true' Under 19 teams instead of the skewed Dev Lg matches where some teams play more experienced players.

I have to say I think this is the best collection of youth players I've seen at Dens for some years. Some of them have a real chance of making it.

And, remember, we've got Andy Black, Cammy Kerr, Matty Allan and Craig Wighton out on loan.

Ahh annoyed I forgot about this. Does seem like the current batch all seem to have a decent chance of making good careers for themselves. Been particularly impressed with Waddell who's looked good every time I've seen him and I think he's still only 16.

I seem to have a habit of missing Ryan Gemmell whenever I'm there so glad to hear he's doing well! A lot of competition in his position.

Great news indeed!

Sorry, should have posted the score. Priest on 31 with a header, Clark on 40 after Skelly had missed penalty and also the rebound, Curran on 41 and Gemmell on 50 minutes. Hibs consolation by Shaw on 66. 4-1 FT.

Was an amazing game.

Curran was stunning on his run through the middle for his goal.

Who was our number 2? Till he got taken out he was astounding - pacey and with a great touch.

Number 2 was Sam Dryden - joined us from Derby County in the summer
