Abodies played abody now so we have a fair idea of what each team is like this year.

We have, if I'm correct, the exact same record as we did at this stage last year. 4 wins, 4 draws and 3 defeats. We are 6th and are well and truly a mid table team in this league. I'd say that we are where we deserve to be. 16 points is a fair reflection of our performances. The Patrick game we deserved less. The hearts game we should've had more. On the whole we are where we should be.

I think most of us would've taken that at the start though most of us have the feeling just now of a hint of disappointment. Mainly due the fact that we're behind Hamilton and Ross county. No complaints about being behind the top 3 who are the only teams to beat us in the league but, while top 6 in the top league is something we've desired for a long time, we probably now all think we should be aiming for top 4. Expectations are a funny thing.

The main surprises for me anyway in the league are Accies doing so well again, Killie not being rooted to the bottom and, I'll be honest, I didn't think our neighbours to struggle this much.

Any thoughts?

We've done very well so far this season, the performances haven't always been there but there's been quite a bit of entertainment crammed in with a few dreadful matches as well.

Just thinking about ourselves - we're in a good position right now. Looking to solidify our top 6 status, and whilst there is team's smaller than us, doing better, we just need to look across the road to see that we're in a good place on and off the field right now. Enjoying the ride so far.

I think you've nailed it Frank, going back a couple of years we'd have sold our souls to be where we are now. Roll on a couple of years and some aren't happy with our lot, I'm happy, a decent cup run and a top 6 finish and I'll be filling my Y's with 'love wee'.

Points-wise I'm happy at our total so far.

I can understand some folks disappointment to an extent as I think we have a 'better' squad potentially than both Hamilton and County, who are above us.  We also have the potential to give some teams a real doing but it looks like we just haven't been connecting in recent weeks.  Continual injuries, illnesses and absences continue to disappoint.  It would be nice to have our strongest side available for two or three weeks in a row.

Could and should be a bit higher IMO. Keep getting ourselves into good positions in games then shooting ourselves in the foot. If we could eradicate that we would be higher up IMO.

Can't agree re entertaining stuff though, other than Kille and first half v hearts it's been quite attritional stuff at times. The constant stream of injuries is a worrying recurring theme as well.

In no danger of going down which is obviously great but I am just a bit frustrated as I think we have the potential to do a bit more than we are.

Frustrating is the word I think.. Capable of much more I feel, but only managing to tick over really.

LC exit was a complete disgrace as was Septic Park but the performance on opening day will live long in my memory. An absolute privealge to watch the Dee that day.

The guts shown to fight back and equalise with the last kick of the ball at the Sticklebrick was a special moment as well (Even though we should have had them buried by half time)

I still think we've got a lot to be optimistic about. Injuries remain a massive concern and the ticket / pricing situation has p*ssed me off because we're in a healthier situation than we have been for an ice age and we should be getting more through the turnstiles.

Don't stop believing!

Overall can't complain with where we are in the league. Considering our history, first and foremost I was always looking for us to ensure that we get some breathing space from the bottom, which we have done. We are firmly in amongst the teams pushing for top 6 so we should be happy enough with that.

There is no doubt that not having a settled team (especially a back 4) has held us back at times. To be honest though I'm starting to accept that with this squad of players that is just the way it will be. Been going on for too long for the injuries just to be down to bad luck.

I think the next round of fixtures will show us whether this squad is capable of doing better than last year. Hearts, County and Inverness away plus Aberdeen at home are all big tests to see how good this team is. I'm also expecting a good battling performance against Celtic. The fans are due that!

After 11 games last year we had 16 points, 4 wins, 3 losses and 4 draws. We are exactly the same this year after 11 and tbh I think that's a fair refelection. I don't think we have been infinitely better or worse than last season at this point. The difference is that at this point last season the team were probably performing at their maximum and doing as well as we could expect. This season the the potential to finish higher is definitely there. We need to find our best 11 and formation and start winning regularly at home and we can kick on into the top 4.

Good and dangerous going forward when we're in the mood.

Weak defensively a lot of the time.

Will win lose and draw roughly the same amount all season as we have no real consistency and can't keep a settled 11 on the park due to injuries.

Slightly frustrating not to be sitting 4th or 5th after yesterday.

As has been said though, 6th is still a fair reflection of our season so far.

I'd settle for a 6th place finish again but have a feeling others wouldn't because of the clubs who are directly above us are smaller?

We really have to do something in the Scottish Cup this season though.

Our domestic cups record the last 8 or 9 years has been absolutely abysmal and the fans really are due a cup run. No excuses why not when we have a top 6 team on the park.

6th place finish, Scottish Cup semi minimum and DABs down for Easter and I'll be very happy :-)

Think we're doing ok. It's been covered but having a settled back 4 or even starting 11 will definitely help us become a bit more consistent. Feeling positive that we can be in and around the European places come the end of the season.

Got to remember there was another large turnaround in personnel. Team has still to gel properly IMO.
