His appearances so far have been few and far between but I'm still wondering, what is he? Where is he meant to be playing and what are his strengths.

I thought we were getting a player that would slot in beside Thomson or maybe provide cover for him in that position.  What I've seen of him so far he seems to roam all over the park and get into attacking positions more than defending - has he any defensive abilities?

I am asking these questions in ignorance, as I have little to no recollection of seeing him play before.  He certainly knows how to play but so far he looks like he plays a little too similar to McGowan but I don't get where he fits into our team.

I'm left wondering the same thing bud.. He was a bit of a box to box midfielder for Aberdeen was he not?

I'm still really hoping he'll come good and PH will find his natural effective position.

One things for sure, it's definetly not wide on the right where he was played against Partick Thistle.
