Herald as the next Messiah by some, given a lot of latitude by many and now it seems that a lot of fans are starting to question his abilities on the park tactics and formation wise.

Is PH still the man to take us further, get us challenging for top 4 as was expected by many fans or are we expecting too much, too soon from this young manager of ours?

Have your say and vote, yes we like our votes.. isn't jealousy an awful thing ;)

Poor tactics, baffling lineups, inability to cut down on the number of cross balls into our box and inability to match our opponents effort. We're just not progressing any more.

It's starting to feel like the dabs under McNamara IMO. Good start full of confidence then the realisation that he's stubborn as f**k and frequently error prone.

Formations so complex fans can't recognise and clearly players don't understand. Most creative player we've got played holding. Best striker played right mid. 2 points from 3 home games against ICT, Ross County and Killie. Knocked out league cup by Dunfermline. Far too much talk in papers, far too little evidence of improvement on park, in fact we are going backwards. Expect us to be dragged into relegation fight soon, REALLY HOPE IM WRONG

Agreed on the fact that he doesnt seem to be learning from his mistakes but too soon to compare our current position to the recent circus at the Sticklebrick IMO..

If he learns and starts playing simple tactics along with playing players (injury permitting) in the correct position  ie. Harkins is not a Def. Midfielder, Ross is not Def. Midfielder or Centre Midfielder and Loy/Hemmings are not wide players, then we will do well. But so far he seems either unable to learn or more worryingly but less likely, doesn't want to learn. And overall we haven't did to badly with him, league position wise anyway, individual performances/results like most of the derbies, games v the tic particularly have been bloody awful!

But I live in hope :)

His record is comparable to McNamara's.

After our 3-1 victory  against Utd on 8th April last season, we've won only 4 times in 19 games. From the same time until he was sacked Utd won 4 times in 17 games under McNamara.

Things need to change and soon.
