St Johnstone in 4th place with 20 points

DFC just beow the top six with17 points

Motherwell 3rd from thebottom 14 points.

Just three POINTS separating each Club.

Would not take much to shift either way.

It's early season. Hope that's good news.

For DFC.... Dinnae drap mair daft points.

ive got a feeling the filth are gonna go on a wee run and will end up ahead of us at the end of the season. We have had the chance to finish ahead of them for the first time in an age,and we just keep spunkin them away.We really should be about 15 points ahead of them if it wasnt for daft results, especially against ten men!

I'm no sae sure the ither lot are "gonna go on a wee run"...... but now they've got the monkey aff their back, I could be wrong.

Regarding oorselves, I did think, one up against 10 men, 40 mins to go, we might, no even jist hud oot, but maybe add a goal

or two. (And even hearing "them" were playing some good stuff, I still thought Ross County wid turn them over)....Happy Days.

I agree with .... "We really should be about 15 points ahead of them if it wasnt for daft results, especially against ten men! " :(

Tbh I knew we wouldn't hold out.Hartley should really have brought on Calder straight away and went for the second goal to kill the game.I'm still right behind the manager but his strange line ups and even more so his inability to make the correct adjustments during the game is certainly worrying.we have the squad there without a doubt to be challenging for 3rd/ 4rh

Said at the time the goal was scored that Calder should have came on, take the game to them whilst they try to chase it. Only thing I couldn't decide is whether I'd have taken off Loy or Healey as neither impressed today.

Remember when some people mocked 'cos I said we should view all games as *must wins*.....?

Yeah...

:(

Absolutely.

Home games....all of them....need to be regarded as "must win"....no we won't win them all, but accepting anything else? Any thought that "the early games don't get you relegated" is a loser's philosophy. You need to pick up enough points in each quarter, or you'll be struggling all season.

Hearts      3

ICT           2

County     2

then starting off the 2nd quarter in good style....

Killie         3

10 points wasted in 4 winnable games.....these are the results that make the difference between top 6 & bottom 6, not the 6-0 at Parkhead, nor losing in Aberdeen, nor a draw across the road.

The dabs will go on a run now as they play attacking football with the confidence of a win they will be above us by Xmas imo.we will keep on going out to not lose and be ninth or tenth by then and in trouble

They're not good enough to go on a run, if they start playing confident, open, attacking football they'll concede too many goals and score too few. They'll slog it out and pick up the odd point and win here and there. However the way we're playing we'll be one of the teams they beat.
