The BBC are getting rid of the red button service and George Osborne has already got half the government departments to accept cuts of 20% over the remaining period of the parliament so who knows what is on the horizon for Sportscene. I watch the BBC clips of DFC online but give the programme a bodyswerve these days.

I do the same now. I was interested to notice that whilst overseas on holiday the BBC website carried commercial advertising - I had no idea they could do this. Must only happen if you are overseas.

I never watch sportscene now , it always been a fairly brutal programme
Weather ive been at game or not - i just see our goals from Goals/ goals against on Goals On Sunday - I get thats not the point as we should have a proper good programme but we dont , never have unless your an old firm fan so wouldnt bother me if it went of the tele

I'm of exactly the same mind as yourself CC ....

If they cannae put on a half decent programme for Scotland, they wid be as weel dropping it altogether. It looks cheap, because, it probably is !!

I choose to record it rather than sit through the hour of listening to the presenter. It's up against the red zone coverage of the NFL on Sky which is a top sports programme, if your into American football that is.

This is the issue for me. I sit and watch them NFL from 6 o clock right through to about midnight on a Sunday.
