Konrad has been good of late, so would keep him in. Would drop Ross for Hearts as they're really physical - suiting the other three central players more. We need to keep it tight and him them on the counter, this formation would do that.

I'd go for that team if Stewart and Calder were told by Hartley to get up and quickly support Loy at every opportunity.

Like the look of this team. Probably what I would go for to be honest. As long as Loy doesn't get too isolated I think we can cause them problems with a front three type of formation going forward. McGowan, Low and Thomson should give us plenty dig in the middle of the park. What's the news on Thomson, is he fit?

I don't see much wrong with that team either although I would prefer McPake to Konrad if McPake is 100% tbh.  As well as Loy getting isolated up front I'm beginning to worry about Holt getting isolated in one on one situations.  It's easy say that Calder, Low or Stewart will provide him with cover but in reality it's a weakness we have and Hearts have the wingers to exploit it.

No mucking about lets go for it, previous games have shown that when we park the bus it doesn't work.

Hoping that the break has come at the right time and we play with a confidence that has been missing for a few weeks.

Defending with that team is a scary thought.
