Raith have given him 9/17 starts (for games he's been fit to play and the rest he featured as a sub). The consensus there is that he's showing a bit more with every start but the final product isn't going right (take a look at their highlights against Falkirk when he did a few keepy ups in the box leaving the defence stranded and then instead of placing it into the net, he passed it behind him to Daly who had a much smaller chance of scoring).

I think he is getting good experience there and my instinct is that it would do him good to keep him there until the end of the season and then get him back for a whole pre-season with us. 

Saying that though, we'll need a replacement for Healey and it might be that we've actually got him really cheap and any other loan/short term deal would be a lot more costly. It might be that Wighton is our best option.

Healy was far too light to play up front in this league.

He had a turn of pace but not much else.

I think with him gone hopefully Harley can concentrate on picking the right players in the correct positions rather than keep giving his recent signings game time(i.e. Ross and Low).

Calder I think is a good signing and with Healy gone hopefully he will now start.
