I know this has been discussed many a time but looking at Sunday, 22 Nov- - across Sky and BT there are 21 live games on, Scottish, English, Spanish, German, Dutch, Indian, American, etc etc - Hamilton v Aberdeen looks least attractive IMO and the one which will look like an amateur game to the casual viewer given the surroundings!

Is this just killing attendances or what?

Even if this is the reason for our current attendances there's not a lot we can do about it. I love all the live games myself but I get hacked off when we're not playing at 15 o'clock on a saturday, hypocrite that I am.

Absolutely agree that as the number of live games has increased, my appetite to watch has diminished.

I'm old enough to remember when only the home internationals and cup final were televised...the Scottish one only. And maybe European cup final...as well as world cup finals and possibly euros.

Definitely that type of starvation made me enjoy both the televised games and Dee matches more.

Where I am now there is only the choice of Dutch and German league live...neither is particularly attractive to me.

Much prefer to enjoy the Dee games vicariously through guys here...

It's a question of quality vs quanity for me.  Tonight was a perfect example - El classic and Man City vs Liverpool.  On the other hand I know boys who would watch any football on TV incl stuff like the Vauxhall Conference.

If I was single it would be whatever game is on TV, as it is if Her Maj is wanting to have a Downton feast or a Billy Elliott greetathon I'll go to the man cave and watch alfreton v whoever. Even if its background I'x rather football than Corrie.
