As long as the defence keeps changing from game to game there is every likelihood this will just carry on.

Playing defenders whose prime purpose in the game is to defend may also help.

Not going to disagree with you Abdul because facts are facts - we were papped out the cup in embarrassing fashion and we're sitting top six right now. If (big if) the consistency comes we'll climb the table and hopefully get a run in the Scottish Cup. Flip side doesn't bear thinking about but as a glass half full type I remain optimistic.

To be honest I think it's more likely we'll kick on than slip away with our squad. Many will disagree and I hope they're all wrong.

Hearts are a really good side and we outplayed them for 45 minutes at Dens and for 45 minutes at Tynecastle. Only Hearts and Celtic have lost fewer games than us. We've got lots of things to put right and injuries are a problem but I still believe we have a good squad of players. We're in poor form while still scrapping for points. Once we hit form again we won't have to worry about a relegation battle. There were some good signs there today.

Being a wine glass half full sorta fella I agree with this Cobra.  Wasn't there, so can't comment on the Tynecastle 45 minutes but I thought at the start of the season we had a good squad and despite a few set backs I haven't seen anything to change that view.  Unfortunately, injuries will play a major part in our season - again.
