They seem to be politely skirting round that McGowan might not get a visa for it.

I doubt Gowser would get into the States to play that game if it were to happen given his record and how strict the Americans are.

Apparently there is zero tolerance when it comes to "aggravated felony", which effectively means a lifetime ban from entering the country.
