Wighton's been injured for a while, Kerr is gaining experience at Peterhead, Carreiro at Arbroath all three look good talents but the first two aren't quite good enough yet for first team football and we'll find out soon with Carreiro.

To be fair, Wighton has had a few chances and been pretty good when he's been on the pitch. His vision has been apparent, we just need to be patient.

Don't think he's ready to be starting ahead of Clarkson, Stewart or a fit Peaso at the moment though.

You're right mate but when he's fit I'd be happy to see him on the bench and getting the odd run out just for his development. Its a bit of a balancing act, you obviously don't want to risk points but you want to bring talent through. Fortunately PH is 'da man' and will know whats best.  B)

I forgot Carreio was at Arbroath. Must make a point of getting along to see them sometime when we're no playing. Do they charge £25 and £15  :P

Don't understand why folk think we should play young boys just for the sake of it. We've got a good settled team at the moment - obviously we've had to shuffle the midfield a wee bit but generally our forward line and back line have been settled and playing well and winning games. Why change something that works?

Players get older, good players move on and bad players get dropped. There's also the thing where older experienced players tend to get paid more so for a whole number of reasons we need to bring through our own players. They don't just magically appear, we need to 'develop' them, thats why if they move on as youngsters the club gets a development fee.

It's not so much playing them for the sake of it, it's trying to cycle our future (hopefully 'stars') into the side.
