Our Summer Signings

Recommended Posts

In summer we had the opportunity to push on and establish ourselves in a poor league.

Seeason ticket and gate prices went up and manager was given leave to clear the decks.

3 year contracts were handed out for 'quality' signings 😣

Budget and present future has been spanked on drivel who wouldn't get a game for rivals.

Local press now touting our players on behalf of DFC to try and fund a recovery window.

Be afraid

January will be interesting. Do the board trust PH with yet more money to sort this unbalanced squad he has put together? Or do they make him go with what he's got. Think Calder will be gone in January and Healy has left so could be scope for replacing those 2. Or will he need to get rid of some to bring in others - if so then who? Ghadzalov? Irvine? Meggat?

Being an Accountant, if I was our current Financial Director and seeing the money our Manager has thrown away on pish players, with two and three

year deals, who are a total Liability, to our great Club. With our Supporters, not turning up, in their droves, because of the PISH, we have been

watching and charging £25 to watch it, if I was him, I would not be sleeping at night, because of the large Ulcers, he must have by now.

I just hope the Americans have deep pockets, to fund a new Manager, to keep us up, because if they don't bite the bullet now, were DOOMED,

Capt Manering.

If the Americans decide PH has to go (which you would think will happen unless things turn around) my worry is who will they look to appoint as a replacement? Are we better sticking with PH or risking a wildcard choice from the USA?

Turn things around? We're two points off fifth and 11 points ahead of United. I very much doubt the manager's job is in danger. We were in the same kind of form before Christmas last year.

Keyes was absolutely raving about Hartley a few months ago. I imagine he still holds him in high regard. Keyes probably sees the team mid-table and struggling without our best player. I'd be amazed if he was thinking about changing manager because some fans are restless and want better football/better results.

Cobra, if Keyes, wasn't looking into our DIRE results and performances just now, then he isn't the hard nose business man, he has a reputation for,

it's his family's money Hartley's pissing against the wind. Smell the coffee mate, we are in Deep sh*t and have been for a LONG time, but you

keep defending Hartley, are you on the wind up mate or Paul Hartley's twin brother???

Well put me down as a triplet then, things have been a bit pish but we've generally been grinding out results. When was the last time you looked at the table, despite our pretty grim performances we're still there or there abouts for where we realistically should be.  We've watched a lot of sh**e football over the years, what made you think being in the SPL would be any different.

If PH really is that sh*t, who do you think could realistically come in and replace him ?

We've won 5 of 29 games since our good wee run after Christmas. I don't care how sh**e United are this season - that's a record that definitely needs turning around.

The fact that Keyes is a "hard nosed business man" means he WONT throw more money at a new manager IMO. He'll know that we are not a million miles away from turning draws into wins whilst appreciating that we are not ready to compete against the bigger clubs in Aberdeen & Celtic. We have already shown, with this same squad of players that we, on our day, can match Hearts. Results like today are extremely disappointing but nowhere near the end of the world. A few tweaks here and there, a less rigid take on formation from PH, a wee bit of confidence and one or two reinforcements in Jan will not only get us back on track but save us a Sh!t load of money.
