All You Can Eat Buffet

I made the mistake today of taking my kids to Pizza Hut for a supposed all you can eat buffet. The cost was £3.99 for the 2 girls and £6.99 for me. Yet somehow we were left with a bill of nearly £40. I'm used to taking them to the Chinese ones in town and Tazza, where you pay a set price for the food and extra for drinks. But having to pay extra for fries and extra for ice-cream is not my idea of an all you can eat buffet. add to that the over priced cost of the drinks. I'm glad to have got that of my chest now.

Hello andee .......  I probably should treat myself and my wife to a meal oot noo and again, but maybe a combination o' being a bit aulder, my wife and myself reasonably being comfortable in the kichen. (love home cooking) and having worked in enough hotels to make me wary of eating out............your post has convinced me, I should be even more wary, if I ever decide to go out for a meal.

I think that is shocking ............How many customers would ever go back there again ?........Once bitten and all that..........

You don't have to eat buffet, you can chose from the menu. They ask you when you enter if you would like to order from the menu or chose the all you can eat buffet. I just made the mistake of thinking the buffet would be better value. My kids would go back in an instant... Personally I'm not a big pizza eater and only went after much arm twisting from the young uns. I also thought the choice from the buffet was rank. A few different types of pizzas, some dried up pasta and some salad stuff. I'm actually annoying myself for being such a moan now. I'm beginning to sound like someone in the readers letters in the Tully.    unhappy from Dundee

( But the truth is you are no a moan at a' ......it is jist some o' the deceptive tricks o' the modern day shopping, or eating oot experience)
