Paul Hartley's Resignation

Recommended Posts

If we lose our next two games and end up in 11th, how likely is it he would resign before the Celtic and DABs games?

In my mind I honestly believe this could happen. He's got previous for getting out when the going gets tough after all.

Motherwell and Killie unlikely to pick up anything this week as they've got Celtic and Aberdeen, but the week after they've got the DAB's and Hamilton. We could be in some awful trouble if results don't go our way over the next two weeks.

We could be in the top six on Saturday night so I very much doubt quitting is on the manager's mind.

He walked away from Alloa because he'd taken them as far as he could. They were never going to make it to the top tier.

I think he'll be at Dens in the New Year regardless of what happens in the next couple of weeks.

And he could also win a better job. There is no way up for him from a resignation this time.

Can't wait for the thread on the 2nd demanding a new three year contract.

Abdul, do you think the Partick manager should have resigned after starting the season without a win in nine (a run that included six defeats)?

Not really, but they are making progress. Any team can have a bad run. We have been bad all season other than a couple of single halves of games.

The signs of progress in our team just aren't there.

Wont happen, he will turn it round.....

Really hope you're right but we've shown nothing for months now that we will other than a couple of good away draws.

We were all saying Partick at Dens just over a month ago was must win as we were in bad form. We drew.

A lot were saying Motherwell away was must win. We lost.

We are desperate for 3 points on Saturday again obviously but have we shown any signs we will get them?

Draw or defeat for me unless something changes in our approach, line up and attitude.

Even going back to Hearts at Dens 2nd game of the season we played great first half and sh**e second half. After killie the week earlier I accepted we would have the odd bad half of football and would be fine. Little did I realise the good half was going to be the rarity.

The next two games are must win IMO cause away to Celtic and the derby could go either way.
