Irvine is now our first choice LB. If we could get a quality proper LB in, I'd be looking to offload Dyer personally because added to the fact Irvine's our current first choice LB. In emergencies, he can play in more positions than Dyer can.

Maybe not in January though.

I'd be happy to see Tankulic and Roberts moved on. Not too fussed about bringing in new players as the current squad are doing so well. Be good to see more of Wighton when fit and also this young Canadian lad.

McGowan's situation is difficult. Jail looks imminent given that he's currently serving a non-custodial term for the same crime and the police are not going to change their story. He'd be a big loss but we have decent back-up in centre mid.

Once Wighton is back fit, we should give him a good run in the team. The boy has got all the ability in the world. Giving him the experience he deserves at a decent level will bring him on leaps and bounds. I have no doubt that given the chance he would prove to be the best "signing" we could make all season. Can he play up top? Slightly deeper in behind the strikers? Let's find out.. If we don't give him the chance, somebody else will.

Hello Cobra ........  Maybe I am beeing over optimistic, but I think Tankulic and  Roberts may yet come good.

With regard McGowan, I like him and I even like what I have saw of his attitude on the park. Off the park, I am sure there must be some serious underlying problems there, that will never be an easy fix, even under the watchful eye of PH.

I love to read these kind of posts, irregardles if each of us have our own ideas (or maybe because of that)  But in the end I do have full trust in PH..

In regards to McGowan, his trial isn't until March. Until then, he's innocent. If he's found guilty, we're entitled to cancel his contract then without him having a case for compensation. Hopefully he's innocent, as he's a cracking wee player in my view.
