Win well, win ugly — the manner of victory matters little to Dundee boss Paul Hartley.

He’s just keen to see his players get three points under their belts for the first time since October against Hamilton at Dens Park today, any which way they do it.

“If we win ugly, that’s fine,†he said.

“Whatever we do we just need to get back to winning games of football.

“We are not stupid, we just need to win a game.

“How we do it doesn’t matter.â€

Meanwhile the manager confirmed he has a virtual clean bill of health again ahead of the Accies clash.

Although, he said the club are yet to discover the extent of Julen Etxabeguren’s eye injury, suffered in the 3-1 loss to Motherwell last weekend.

Paul says the club are playing the waiting game to see whether the Spaniard will need an operation. The manager said: “We are all right apart from Julen.
“We will find out today if he needs an operation or doesn’t.

“We are hoping it is not too serious.

“We will wait to see what happens after he has seen a specialist.

“It has been the story of his season, really — he has come into the team and got bumps and bruises.

“Touch wood, it is not too serious.â€

Paul says he is mulling over the thought of ringing the changes today.

Gary Harkins, Nick Ross and Riccardo Calder are all thought to be under consideration for a recall to the starting XI, asides from the one enforced change with Etxabeguren making way for Thomas Konrad.
