Said the same today. A few "usual suspects" near me in the Cox looked decidedly p*ssed off that they didn't get a chance to vent today.

You must sit near me, there's a boy about 50 years old, moans at the team what ever the result, even today at 4-0 he had a moan or two

I've usually only got to contend with two types of emotions when it comes to anything to do with Dundee FC.

1) A sad, deep silent depression, sometimes bordering on suicide

2) An hysterical sense of delirium, bordering on edge of madness 

And for the record, when I was more voiciferous, I never moaned or booed at games.

But shouted myself hoarse to push them on. Today would have fell into the latter

Great backing to the team all through the match. What a difference that made to the team and the atmosphere.

To be fair, some in the BC were also chanting along with you.

The old story for me .... It's a TWO-WAY-THING !!

If players show intent, work hard, fans will get behind them, driving them on to better things.

Sometimes of course players, for whatever reason cannae seem tae get going. But wi' fans

encouragement, can lift themselves up a level and seriously raise their game. It awe sounds

fine in theory, but easier said than done. Watching a team trying to play, that seems to lack

basic skills is hard. Watching players that seem disinterested & dinnae appear to try or put

in a real effort is not acceptable.      Yesterday's performance brings out the best in fans
