I've been negative and anti Hartley all week.

He shut me up something awful today.

I went into the the Well game quietly confident and had that kicked out of me with 25 minutes. 

Today I went more in hope than expectation and was buzzing after 25 minutes.

Credit to Hartley and the players. Long may it continue.

Hartley might frustrate us but when we're really up against it he delivers. We had to beat Dumbarton to win the league and we did. We needed a response last October after losing four on the bounce including two derbies and we won our next three. We needed a response to NYD and we went unbeaten in eight league games. We needed to a response to last week's abject defeat at Motherwell and we battered Hamilton.

A lot of managers can't handle it when the pressure builds but it seems to bring out the best in Hartley. For that reason alone I'd be reluctant to replace him.

Please, please, PH drum it into our guys that this effort, passion and aggression must be shown every week, not just now and again.

If we play like this we will win more than we lose, another 4 wins and safety is more or less assured and we can set ourselves realistic goals for the rest of the season.
