Sfa Running Miss Universe Now?

Unbelievable! I have just watched Miss Universe from Las Vegas. (Yep, tv is that bad where I am!)

To cut a long story short, the host announced the winner as Miss Colombia. Duly she was crowned, flowers, sash...all that stuff. Then the host, rather sheepishly, announced that he should have said Miss Philippines...a lot of embarrassing moments ensued, culminating in the crown,flowers and sash being removed from Miss Colombia and passed to Miss Philippines. Joke- how the feck could the host have made such a colossal mistake. I joked to the wife that the bank transfer (bribe) must have been dalayed

Anyway, this got me thinking about a semi-final draw a few (not many) years back involving United and Aberdeen - did they not change the draw after it had been made? My memory is not 100% clear on this but i remember something "fishy" happening?

Best bit was when he tried to be the big man and said to the audience it was entirely his fault and not to blame the contestants...yep Steve, it was your 100% your fault that you read Miss Philippines on the card but said Miss Colombia to the watching world!
