Ghosts

I saw this and thought of our own 'Ghosts', Stewart and Bain. At last clubs (in England anyway) are realising that just because you're not a Wayne Rooney at 16 then you're not cutting it.

Not every kid who drops out at 16 will turn into a top player but I'm a firm believer that the psychological side of things is hugely underrated. At the risk of banging on about it, the Deefiant season showed what the right motivation can do and while at 16 a guy might be more interested in hanging around with his pals, by 20 he might have grown up enough to have a second go at it. I thought it was an interesting article anyway.

I guess that's the problem with football Chomp - and maybe many other aspects of life - when we are young and naive and don't always wear our sensible head is exactly the time when our choices influence our whole life.
