Player Of The Season: At This Stage Of The Game.

Now that we are past the first third of the season (Or pretty damn close to it or because I said so). I think it would be a time to put forward our early nominees for contender of the Player Of The Season and compare this to the end of the season vote. This is football and anything can change between now and then, so it would be interesting to see how your votes either stay the same or change over the remainder of the season.

I'm going for James McPake. Clarkson would be the obvious choice with his goals but I think this man has been solid at the back.

McPake for me. Worried about central defence if he gets injured or suspended. Him and McGinn have been consistently good so far imo with Konrad not far behind. Clarkson coming up on the rails.

Paul McGinn for me. Getting better all the time and has barely put a foot wrong. Mucks in for the team and does really well defensively as well as going forward. He always seems to do well in tight spaces out wide when going forward and rarely doesn't find a dark blue shirt with his passing. For me, he could go on to become a Dee hall of famer. Plus, he looks like Bobby Cox's grandson :-)

Went for GGH but there were a few I swithered about. Feel a wee bit bad for not going for McPake and I suspect he'll 'win' at this stage.

Went for Konrad, think he has been fantastic so far.

Clarkson....I think his presence and goal scoring has brought about a confidence in the team that wasn't there before

I went for Konrad. I'm hoping Clarkson gets it at the end of the season, coz that would mean he will have scored a load of goals

Would it be McPake, Konrad, McGinn or Clarkson. All of the aforementioned have been outstanding so far.

Nope, went for Greg Stewart. Have been really impressed how he has adapted tp full-time football and the SPL.

His control, hold up play, ability to beat players with ease and his eye for a goal, swung it for me.

A modern day Eric Sinclair or Graham Harvey.
