IMO our captain and arguably most influential player should be wrapped in cotton wool, if not an F'n plaster cast all next week. Forget the Celtic game, they can be beaten with the right approach but PH will no doubt do things his own way again and we could lose a few goals and our skipper. A backs to the wall damage limitation exercise in midweek wont be pretty but the derby, for me, is the most important game of our season so far and one we must win. Kevin Thomson holds our midfield together and MUST be kept fit for Sat.

I don't think you'll find many that disagree with anything you said but we are where we are.  We just have to make the best of it.

PH's signings in midfield have been all wrong. If KT doesn't play we have no like for like replacement. Hartley knew in pre-season, when he tried every man and his dog in the KT role, that that was the case. Somehow he's decided that playing midgets and/or attacking midfielders in the holding role is a worthwhile gamble.

Curran would be better than ross in that deep position. At least he's got height and can tackle. Even low would be better there.

Central defence is appalling though. I can't wait to see the back of mcpake and konrad and gadz is even worse.

Unfortunately PH has built a side that is reliant upon KT and which tends to capitulate when he isn't there.

Totally agree Rev, being saying the same "before the FIRST game of the season" his so called marque midfield signings, have been a total joke.

My 83 year old mother can tackle better than Ross, we ALL said a 6ft 3ins experienced centre half had to be his PRIORITY summer singing, but

 he pished it all away on two CRAP so called midfielders on 3 year deals, you couldn't write it.

Quite the opposite, I'm fully expecting Demel or Pongolle (if he makes it) to be SoNiCBoOmEd and KT to casually walk away.
