On...or Off

Probably not many Dees too unhappy that game was off last night. How about Saturday?

If on - major pro. is they are crap now and will still be crap on Saturday. And the dodgy keeper will be between the sticks. Major con. is Stewart will he missing.

If off - they could start to pick up points, they are not being humped every week. They could strengthen their team.

Also, no guarantee Stewart will be here come the re-arranged game anyway.

For me, let's get the game on and pick up the win we should, and gloat that we might well be hammering the nail in their coffin by doing so.

This game has to go on HK ... So the weather gods have got to be on our side.

I never read report of their game against Hearts, but I think it's safe to say they

are showing some wee signs of a bit of a revival. Their candle must have burned

brightly after that first minute penalty, but in the end it turned oot tae be nae mair

than a flickering candlle. DFC have got to go out on Saturday with a confidence &

determination to pit that wee flicker oot !!  A wee bit o banter & even a bit gloating

between two rival city teams is to be expected.  But in their case, far too many of

their so called fans, have taking the game  a bit too far. Insulting, deriding, ridiculing

us, & our efforts, when we just wanted hang in there, and keep our club alive, during

our blackest days & periods of administration. Through it all we stuck by them, and

were successful. The tables are now turning. It's time to put them (& their loyalty) to

the test ...They, will not have the will, the guts, the loyalty, to pass this test I'm sure.

A win for DFC on Saturday will seal their future. Not just for this season. But for the

many years ahead of them in the wilderness !!

However you do it Dundee, get that ptch playable. If it dries out and there is even the

slightest threat of rain   cover it (if necessary)  Saturday should be our day. The team

(like the DFC fans/supporters) will be well prepared. DFC.  With the loyal, screaming

DFC support behind you on Saurday......How can you fail.  "COME ON THE DEE" :)

Definitely on.

Stewart's a big miss but let's get this game done before they can get any reinforcements in.

Didnt McKay go off last night? Anyone know if he injured? It would be a massive plus for us if he was out and would go as far to say a far bigger blow to them than us being with out Stewart.

I wasn't watching it but they got a red card so it might have been a reshuffle taking him off although a strange choice unless they were saving him for the derby. Guessing though.

Ah maybe not injured then but like you say a strange decision taking their best player by an absolute mile off in a game that they were stil very much in and may have sneaked something from.

100 percent on.

One of the worst teams points wise in modern top flight history. Dud goalkeepers until the new signing is ready. Players injured and suspended. Confidence rock bottom.

Was strange enough seeing my fellow fans pray for last nights game to be called off even though it would help us with extra rest for Saturday but if some are calling for a home derby to be off against an extremely poor United side that have lost 14 out of 20 games and only won 2 out of 20? Just don't get it at all.

By the law of averages, they will pick up second half of the season at some point. Never be a better time to face them than Saturday.

Got to be on. Our best chance to finish them off before they get some new faces in.

Disillusioned & in Disarray.

A disappearing glimmer of hope.

Time to extinghish their flickering flame.

Into a world of deep, dark, despairing, depression :(

(Aye that'll dae fir starters) C'mon the Dee. We're awe behind you :lol2:

The chances of it being on must be slim if last night was off.

Met office forecast has heavy rain forecast for Dundee from 11pm Friday night until pretty much 9pm Monday night where it turns to light rain for most of Tuesday and Wednesday!

Can only hope the forecast will change or the rain will start later and lighter on Saturday to give us a chance of it being on with it being an early kick off.

Was definitely injured/hobbling. Most likely as a precaution. Morris is Out, Durnan is out. They have three available CH's. Dillon - McGowan - Gunning.

They can't possibly go with Mixu's preferred 3-5-1-1. They're in disarray. They could of course drop permanent 'I'm nakerd, get me off' Demel back, but against Hemmings? He'd be off by 20.

Absolutely nothing to fear here. Get right through them.
