His loan deal should be up on Monday IIRC

Raith need forwards but he hasn't done well in his last couple of appearances. I'd quite like to see him loaned to a part time side with a bit less pressure if they aren't keen.

I'd really like him to be a bit low key for a while. Articles about how he's destined for greatness isn't helping him. His weakness seems to be that he doesn't have a set role on the pitch and is also pretty weak and he's just got to go away and work on that for a while.

I did watch him quite recently (on live link) twice I think.

Accepting he had a thankless job on his own up front,

sorry to say, his contribution was just about zero.

Wonder if he feels he is benefitting from loans?

Maybe no' at the right place, or better back?

The problem is Gedee, who do you drop to give him a game ? Our forward line is our strongest part of the team, realistically he needs to go out on loan again for game time.

He's not an out an out striker/goalscorer. He is at his best dropping off the defence creating space for himself and bringing others into play.he has Been played up top as a loan striker at raith which he is never going to excel at because of his size.he would be more suited in the role Harkins was in today and if Stewart goes we should have him in the squad as cover.although he probably wouldn't make much of an impact in Hartleys formations as his biggest strength is bringing runners from midfield into play which we don't have.would like to see skelly get a wee run too but loy is obviously second choice ahead of the rest.

(Sorry for being so naive)

But when Wighton is on loan to Raith  (or any DFC player on loan to any other Club)  does that mean,

ALL of their time is spent with loan Club, and basically they are NOT training or keeping in touch with

their parent Club at all? If Raith are playing him in a position that does not suit him, do DFC have a say?
