From myself and all at the Darkblues Forum, I would like to offer you a ....... Big, Genuine, Friendly, Warm, Welcome to The Dakblues Forum.

Maybe we are no always totally free of the odd nippy comments in some posts, but all of us, mods and members, make sure it does not get out of hand. And basically, if I am being honest, there is something satisfying in being a member of a forum, knowing where we are all decent, loyal DFC fans and supporters and here to welcome another DFC and Darkblues Member.

So, if you feel you need to, take your time to check out posts, comments, discussions, debates...........there is a lot there to digest. But when you do have the time and inclination, if you have not already done so, pop in that first post.

Some new members/posters are eager to get their first post into the main body of the forum (and that is fine) others who are maybe new to forums, are maybe a wee bit unsure.

However, whatever way you describe yourself..... a new, or experienced forum poster, it might help you, (and certainly, us as well) if you could drop a wee post, maybe about yourself, or what made you want to join The Darkblues Forum, or in fact anything at all that takes your fancy, in this new introductory section of the DB Forum.

This we hope, will not only make it easier for yourself, but also give other members, a personal opportunity to welcome yourself and have a wee bit banter. If you decide to post........ I can guarantee you will get a response.

(Maybe even fae the boss. He is considering cutting doon his working day to 20 hours. So you are helping him keep busy)

cheers...been posting online under various guises since the old bbc days...most other places i use tend not to have a lot of dundee fans on or its full o complete wallopers

One grand thing aboot TDB is we are no tainted wi infitrators (Guid, Loyal, DFC Fans & Supporters) No sae sure aboot the wallopers,

unfortunately dont get to many games now due to shift work and having 2 teenage boys who go every home game and the oldest who goes to a few away..poor me canna afford it..but will be nice for a change yapping about the dees without fans of other clubs jumping all over anything you say.

I think you have summed up well Charlie, one o' the good things aboot TDB.

Add to above that the level of abuse & personal insult is kept to a minimum.

Certainly from my point of view, it makes this forum, the one I want to be on.

For a range of reasons I get to very, very, few games (mainly distance & age) 

This forum & others, keeps me up to date. Look efter yirsel & family friend

We are proud to say that we have some really good members who post here, and we will crack down on personal insults and slagging matches, but at the same time let people ask the hard questions and with a whole load of light banter as well.

We even let Gedee post on here as well

But what he's no' telling new posters is.Every one o meh posts are scrutinised/vetted, by each staff member !!

And, he has limited me tae nae mair than a Hundred Posts a Day !!       Cannae stand him anyway !!       He's Power Mad !!
