Strolled the game today. Defended well, composed and looks a good organiser at the back. Long may it continue.

Would like to think that we could hold on to him after the season ends (You never know, stranger things have happened), but I do think that this is him trying to get himself in the shop window for next season.

Think the only thing he lacks is match fitness, but does seem like we have fallen into luck to get him at the back. Good defender with a great attitude.

Much better organised at the back, he seemed to click immediately with Konrad which is great. Significantly though we lost another goal from a ball into the box - will need to see it on TV to see if that was lax defending or a very good run from the guy. I think that'll be our CH partnership for the rest of the season though.

I know it's only paper talk but O'Dea has made some dough from his globetrotting career so far and has stated publicly that he wants to play closer to home and would like to stay at Dundee, if they wanted him. He also said Dundee were the only Scottish club ( plus obviously Celtic although that's probably unlikely) he'd consider playing for as PH is his mate. All depending on what kind of deal he's looking for and what other offers he receives of course.

Could we be looking at a O'dea and McPake or a Konrad and Jules back two next season?

It may be a case of using DFC as a "shop window"   But I don't think anyone really knows.

I prefer to think at this time DFC are on the upward move again and maybe he is a part of it.

If results and performances continue to go in our favour  (& all is well in the dressing room)

I would think/hope, he, like all the present/future players, would want to be a big part of it.

(No' suggesting anything aboot anybody) But it's fine to think. Two Clubs in the City, one is

definitelY going DOON (& it's no' us) So whit club wid present & future players be happier wi?

Them or Dundee FC? SURELY EH'M NO' FEELIN' A WEE BIT SMUG. Of course not. :lol2: :lol2:
