Wow, that's a REALLY tough selection.

My heart (and vote) says Keith Wright, as he was my favourite as I was growing up and he gave the club service above and beyond when many would have jumped ship.

However a more realist winner comes from Pirie, Fraser and Allan. No disrespect to McKinlay or Donaldson.

This as close to having to choose which of your children gets to live as I could imagine.

Under duress, though, I have to go for Billy Pirie, with Ally Donaldson as a close second. Having said that every one of them deserves to be in the Hall of Fame and hopefully will get another chance. Who says the Hall has to be that small anyway. I would have a hall the size of a cathedral......

They'll all get there in time, but yes, hard choice for just one vote!

I'd like to see Ally Donaldson there, but voted for Keith Wright as that partnership with Tommy Coyne was astonishingly good. I still recall the day Saint & Greavsie featured them & were pushing for them to be the Scotland strikers.

Went for Tommy Allan.

Like most fans, i tend to look back at my early days as a Dee with even more dark blue tinted specs than I have now, so it's Allan for me.

All those mentioned are a fair shout, but for me it's between Allan and Pirie, with Wright a close 3rd.

Hope Gerry Follon does not continue to be overlooked - 2 league cups and many games plus coach at Dens and taught the young Dee lads academic subjects before become a local headmaster.

Billy' ....... Had Gerry Follon as a geography teacher at the Auld Lawside Academy.

To be honest, I had little time for teachers until I met him. And had no time at all for

geography, until then. He was brilliant. Absolutely inspiring teacher (early 1950's) :)
