This Weekend Results

Friday night apart, this weekend's results weren't too damaging for us.

Gaps below and above stayed pretty static.

We've got Motherwell, Celtic and St. Johnstone coming up at Dens, Killie away then ICT at Dens before the end of Feb. We should be looking for a 10 point minimum haul from that so by the time we go to Celtic Park on 2nd March we could easily be in fifth place. In the meantime a decent result on Tuesday could be the confidence booster we need to start on such a run.

Agree about Celtic but surely 10 from the other 4 games is achievable? Maybe even a point against Celtic at Dens?

Really good weekend for us. We got a tough fixture out the road and our position improved slightly with Killie's goal difference taking another tanking.

I see Falkirk went 13 games unbeaten yesterday. Would be a fantastic win if we could beat them. Hope the fans are patient because it won't be easy.

I think Cobra means with the other results going our way in the league. However, I would have preferred the dabs to not have won.

We negotiated one of the hardest fixtures in the calendar and remain five points clear of the play-offs while our goal difference now looks increasingly like an extra point.

Every week that goes by where the gap isn't closed is a positive for me.

Playing devils advocate, Hamilton have gained a point on us who are very much in the mix for 11th and that must be the first time this season that the world famous club at the bottom of gained 3 points on us. edited just checked their other 2 league win dates, it's actually only the 2nd time in 23 games they have. Think we've had at least 5 or 6 Carlsberg weekends this season.

Playing devils advocate, Hamilton have gained a point on us who are very much in the mix for 11th and that must be the first time this season that the world famous club at the bottom of gained 3 points on us. edited just checked their other 2 league win dates, it's actually only the 2nd time in 23 games they have. Think we've had at least 5 or 6 Carlsberg weekends this season.

Hamilton seem to be on their mid season bottle crash part, normally they leave it late to start playing again. I can see them avoiding the 11th spot this season and the Dabs and Killie battling it out for the bottom two places.
