Absolutely delighted with that.

A very tricky tie against one of the form teams in the country.

Bold move to bring on Loy paid off - credit to Hartley for that.

Let's just not screw it up v Dumbarton!

I thought Hemmings took his first goal really well. Considering he was always flagged for being offside and to score a goal from being............. offside :lol2:

With a defence as bad as ours we're not good enough to defend and see games out so as well going for it and putting the game out of reach.

Did anyone in the Coxy see what happened with Gadhalov at the equaliser? All you could see from the Derry was that the boy was sitting on his ar**.

Bar that, a great result with the quality difference in our attacking players ultimately winning us the match. Hemmings is the fucking boy, the amount of back tracking he did to help out sloppy defensive mistakes was quality. Best striker we've had for a long time.

Very happy with the result.

Not much between the sides in defence or midfield but our forwards miles ahead and won the game.

Hate to post negative after a win but Low is simply making up the numbers. There is no way this guy should be playing week in week out for us. Holt defended decently but distribution is needing worked on. Ross quiet as usual. The rest played well. Harkins and Hemmings excellent.

I thought Ross had a much better game today and was looking to get involved instead of watching the game go by.  What can you say about Low.  Gave me the impression that we had turned up with ten men and PH had picked some random stranger out of the South Enclosure to play for us.  The difference in our game when Loy came on for him was obvious imo.

Yep. Just meant long term wise going forward I don't see Ross as a dominant midfielder like KT was but you're right, he wasn't bad today.

Low constantly kept putting Holt under pressure in the first half with back passes to him and as for his chances in 50/50s. Next to none unfortunately. Good delivery on the boy too but far too lightweight and anonymous to start for us week in week out. Still needing to sign a ball winning midfielder badly IMO.
