Dont think Gadz is that bad a player. Did well when he came on in the derby and again last night. Yes he has the "odd" moment in games but then which one of our players hasnt?? I think a decent run in the side (4/5 games) would do him the world of good and it would let us see if we have a player or not, but with Jules back then I dont think he will get that run. For what its worth I think he would be a better defender than Konrad, but if we have Jules fit and O'Dea to come in then to answer the opening post if he isnt going to play then yes I'd put him out on loan.

Any time ive seen Gadz - i dont think he`s an awfull player by any means , like he`s no 1 in years to come to say to your mate "oh mind Gadz he wiz brutal"

But i dont think he is SPL first team starter for us.

He`ll prob be let go come end of this season and no 1 will but an eye lid sort of thing.

Gadz is a bombscare for me.

As is Konrad against better opposition.

McPake is out has also been less reliable this season.

Jules. Great potential there but still has "moments" regardless of boys posting that he strolls it.

O'Dea, too early for proper judgement.

I agree with barkblue I think it was that made the point that none of our centre backs are particularly great this season.

McPake was excellent last season and Konrad for most games decent next to him.

This season we definitely don't have two strong in good form centre backs.

I think O' Dea alongside Julen would be our best shout. Like you say Julen has his hairy moments but if O' Dea is alongside him in his ear all the time it would be a great help IMO.

O'Dea and Julen look like potentially being our best CB pairing. McPake should be back for next season. Konrad and Gadz are fine as back-up against all except Celtic and Aberdeen. Meggatt is a left-back who isn't really suited to CB imo.

All in all, things are looking not too bad for next season, assuming O'Dea settles in and wants to stick around.

Of course it would be great to upgrade to a Jim Duffy-type but we've got to be realistic.
