If not surely he's a ready replacement for Ross in midfield? Looked more than comfortable in cdm when he replaced Thompson at dens and looked good vs Brechin in pre season when I've seen him

Can't be any worse than what we've seen recently, I say give him a shot. Like you said looked comfortable when he was subbed on

Can't see it happening tho with hartley not really playing youth, but get the feelin he's maybe trying to get them first team experience elsewhere at clubs before they make the step up so maybe next season they can play a bigger role rather than thrown in at the deep and end up like Utd, or he's using these youth players to sign for cheap and try sell on for a small profit

the fact that cammy k hasnt started again after playing well in the derby suggests to me that ph has no faith in youth or is determined to make his methods work even if we can all see it doesnt. Curran, carreiro and kerr have all looked comfortable in the rare games they've had.Surprised carreiro was released, also what about priest, with our defence as bad as it is has anyone seen him, is he ready to step up ?

PH does not favour youth. Colquhoun is another that's been in 1st team, did well then has dropped out. Seen him several times in Dev team and is a good strong player. Last week he went to CH after a sending off against Hibs and was very impressive. So much so that we were much better than them in the last half hour.

I think Curran could do a job. Big strong lad. Looked OK when he played before. Also think Kerr should be much nearer a start as well, at fullback.

Curran struggled a bit with the physical side of the game at Montrose and in his first game, he made an error which caused a goal. I've been impressed with him though and looks like he'll be a player but think he might be another pre-season away from making an impact.
