Who is Dundee's MVP (Most Valuable Player) at the present time?

Not necessarily the player who would attract the biggest transfer fee or the POTY this season but maybe the player we could least afford to lose or be without for any length of time.

I would guess that this could maybe be whittled down to a handful of players but at this present moment I would go for :

Gary Harkins.

Last season when Harkins was getting pelters I argued that even when he was in poor form he was of great value to the team, because he can turn a game in an instant and his record of being involved in goals is outstanding, so in general I'd go for GGH.

Hemmings though is on a ridiculous run of ten goals in seven games so on current form is probably the MVP in the country.

Bain, Hemmings or O'Dea would all be a bigger long term loss than Harkins.

O'dea?Hes not really been that impressive so far IMO.Same old defensive problems with him in the side still

Despite my previous post, this is true also.

Guys like Gordon Strachan and a quite a few other pundits, ex players and managers have made the point, there is not many players in Scottish football that can do the things that Harkins can do with the ball. Sadly there are hardly any players like him left in this country.
