Of PH taking over at Dens I think.   More ups than downs in that period  of course but still a bit of work to be done this season.

Signings - a lot more ups than downs imo although there is one obvious area where we are currently lacking.

Happy with how we are playing and our league position although in hindsight it could have been a lot better.

Carry on.  Don't know when his deal runs out but should we be looking at extending if it's less than two years?

Definitely happy, as you say more ups than downs, second season back in the premiership, sitting mid table, albeit slimly. Everyone would like to see us collect more points, shore up the defence, and solidify a position comfortably away from the play off spot, but it's only our second season back so steady as it goes is fine with me. If PH has till the end of next season for his contract to run. I'd probably wait till the summer to discuss any future extensions

His first game was a win against Hamilton at Dens. A game that had been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch, then rescheduled for Scottish Cup 5th round day because both teams were out.

I therefore conclude that the weather on 18th January 2014 won us the league.

It looks like PH is confident of survival in the league this season as he is in pre-contract discussions with ICT players.

The defence and midfield are still a big worry.

You'd have to say he's been an excellent appointment. Lots of great signings. Promotion right away and I don't think we've been in the bottom two since coming up.

Yes we've had some shocking defeats and performance like the 5-2 at County and 6-2 at United but he uses those games to get a reaction and go on a run so at least we have the ability to recover well from these hidings. Other teams would go the other way and suffer a proper collapse.

He is a stubborn character but he gets things right eventually.

Not too bothered about the length of his contract. If he wants to go he'll go.

I'm more than happy with PH, I think he's a breath of fresh air after some of the managers we've had.
